Booking Enquiries

I have dietary requirements can you cater for me?

Please so let us know on booking: it helps if you are specific and provide as much detail as possible. If you have an allergy please let us know how severe it is, do you carry an Epi Pen? If you are gluten-free please do clarify if you just avoid wheat or if you are coeliac and mustn’t eat anything that has come into contact with wheat. It’s really helpful for us to know this up front so we can alert our caterers. If you have any questions or want to chat through a requirement please get in touch.

I need to fly into Scotland what are the best airports?

Edinburgh and Glasgow are Scotland’s biggest airports. Both cities have good train connections to Inverness. Inverness airport has good connections via London (Heathrow and Gatwick),Manchester and Amsterdam.

I need to spend an extra night in Inverness before or after my trip, do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes, just drop us an email and we’ll send some options.

How much of a deposit do I need to pay and when is the balance due?

A 25% deposit will confirm your place on your trip and the balance is due 4 weeks before departure.

Can I book a day trip with you?

Yes - we provide single day trips or any combination of our tours for tailored or personally bespoke trips.

Can I book a single room?

Single rooms are offered on most of our trips but these are limited so are allocated on a first come first served basis. It’s no problem to book a single room as long as there is one available.

I’m a solo traveller, is there a single supplement?

There is no single supplement for solo travellers as long as you are happy to share a room with someone of the same gender.

I have booked a trip and can no longer travel. How do I cancel and what are the terms?

• If you do have to cancel please get in touch as soon as possible. We’re happy to chat through the options but we also need written confirmation of your cancellation. We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens, so we’ll help if we can. If you contact us at least 4 weeks before your trip starts it may be possible to move your deposit on to another trip in the same calendar year.
• Occasionally it’s possible for us to move your deposit to the following year, but we cannot hold deposits indefinitely so ideally we need to transfer your booking to a new departure as soon as possible. If you contact us with less than 4 weeks notice from departure we cannot move you to a different trip so the best option is to make sure your travel insurance covers you for cancellations. If you need it we can provide documentation for your insurance company.

Do I really need travel insurance?

Yes. We don’t ask to see proof of this but we strongly recommend you have travel insurance. It should cover last minute trip cancellation, repatriation or unexpected charges if flights are delayed or cancelled. Please note that we are not insurance agents and cannot advise you on travel insurance or the level of cover you require. Please contact your preferred insurance company for any questions or advice.
